Since the authors of Deliplayer (including those who writes plugins) have done a great job on making such a useful program I think that we (the users) should just tell them how much we appreciate all their hard work...

Therefore I ask anyone who agree that Deliplayer is a magnicifent pice of sh... eh... work to post a little reply perhaps writing a little bit of what they like best with Deliplayer.

So if someone feel tired of bugreports (who actually are quite helpfull even if they are a bit depressing sometimes) I hope that some positive feedback from us would brighten up a bit.

Once upon a time I stumbled upon this odd app when I needed something to play TFMX modules. That program was of course Deliplayer (1.3 at the time IIRC). For a while, I only used it to play what Winamp and ModPlug couldnt handle.
However, I got fed up with the crap that was Winamp (sorry Nullsoft...) and "converted" to DeliPlayer2. Hoorah, all formats I want to play supported in a single app! I have never looked back. DeliPlayer looks better (system style rocks Cool), sounds better and generally is better. So, thank you so very much for this great piece of software!

Is your boots shiny enough now, or shall I lick them again?

Have used DP since 1.0 where I registered after 5 min of having downloaded it. Its ability to play all sorts of strange mods is really great. Thrown in with a great support from Florian and Peter it makes it a killer player.

Best thing for me is the playlist of the registered version, with the sublist nesting introduced in v2 - its simply the best tool to keep your music collection tidy and controllable. I couldn't possibly live without it any more. And I admit it, I had my weak moments when I looked at fb2k and WA5 (for the media library), but I returned to DP2 shortly after, so call me a converted sinner.

i mostly like deliplayer because it can play .zip and .rar files, which is easier for me to listen to and also share full albums at the same time,... but i am having just one problem so far.... for some reason deliplayer stops playing after awhile, and i have the repeat all selected... it just stops playing is this a bug or a way i have it set?

i love dp for playing this impressive amount of exotic formats. can't get enough of those tiny classic game-tunes (especially at work, editing boring database-stuff). greetings from berlin.

I'm a big fan of Amiga tunes and DP allows me to play almost all of them (maybe one day soon all of them )
And a very good side effect: mp3 ogg wav and lots others

Me? Oh i looove DeliPlayer. On a windows machine i cannot use anything else, i just love the application.

Too bad there isn't a Linux port because i think that many Linux people would use it as well, including me.
Unix/Linux/*BSD really needs a player like deliplayer. Sad
