is a Toronto-based illustrator, visual fashion designer, and strategist whom, one day, knew that many choose outlines she was actually obtaining on applications like OkCupid, Tinder, and match.com had been so unmanageable, untamed, unsuitable, and misogynistic that she needed to do something about it.
“I’m a fascinated individual by nature, so sensation amazed, offended, or repulsed is accompanied by something similar to intrigue or attraction,”
she thought to

towards time one-man’s basic message to the lady was simply that he wished to have sex with her.
“who was simply this individual and just why performed they send this and just what do I need to perform?! Element of myself says, âAre you fucking kidding me?!’ Another part of myself is actually experiencing awesome unfortunate and alone. Another component is saying, âThis is actually hilarious!'”
After obtaining a flurry of unwanted cock pictures and unwanted descend ons, Tsumura decided that she’d switch the knowledge into some thing positive (YASS) and started initially to draws three regarding the dudes who’d messaged her.
In fact, the illustrations in fact ended up decreasing Tsumura’s internet dating existence. But, it had a positive influence somewhere else.
“i have had plenty of people declare that seeing the drawings made all of them feel recognized,”
she told
Buzzfeed
,
“or much less alone.”
Like other women (and gay and bisexual males, transgender people) on internet dating programs, unsolicited male attention is becoming commonplace. Sadly, most of the time these interactions can keep individuals experiencing vulnerable, alone, abused, and uncomfortable. Tbh, it must be illegal to deliver an unsolicited image of your penis to any individual.
After receiving a lot of good commentary, Tsumura decided to introduce an Instagram profile,
@ok_cucumber
, to generally share the woman drawings.
