I tried using various versions of the lame_enc.dll, amongst them 3.90.3 and 3.96.1 (both, normal versions and those modifies to work with only presets, as avaiable at www.rarewares.org), but have not yet been able to produce properly Lame APS encoded output.

1st try: version of lame_enc.dll unknown and accidentally deleted - StreamRecorder produced CBR output only, no matter which settings used

Many more tries using the DLLs found at RareWares: StreamRecorder produces VBR output, but the MP3 header seems to be screwed up somehow.

The resulting files are replayable using DP, 1by1 or XMPlay, but confuse other players regarding total lenght and bitrate used (WMP, Nero ShowTime, Foobar2000, iTunes...).

What's going on here? These files are not the same one would get outputting to WAV and encoding using lame.exe - is there any special version of the DLL to be used? And which command line switches are represented by the StreamRecorder options?
