Version 1.10 of my AAC/MP4 plugin is out (this version fixes some minor bugs and contains a more strict format test code). Because my first AAC plugin announcement got lost in the DP site crash, first a brief feature list:
- bases on the high-quality open-source AAC decoder FAAD2
- supports four different AAC variants (DIF/DTS/RAW and AAC files embedded in an MP4 container)
- outputs true 32bit samples (which means it benefits from 20/24 bit soundcards; in case a 16bit soundcard is available only, the samples are converted to 16bit)
The installation is quite simple. Download the archive, unpack it and copy the 'dpFAAD.dll' file into the /players directory of your DeliPlayer installation. That's all. Note that this plugin requires at least DeliPlayer V2.50 to work.
