If every other demo contains a new revision of the player, I don't see much sense in making a Deli-Player for it... |

i hope the ViruzII is like TFMX, the replayroutine in turrican 3 is the latest one, but it can play the tunes in turrican 1.... _________________ -- You cant escape Muerto -- |

@Alexander the replayer for each demo is nearly the same. the songformat is only slightly different (some midi commands are different/enhanced). so it isnt really hard to do some changes to support all of them. currently i'm developing the changes on the disassembled replayer source. but for me its more interesting to do a MIDI to V2M converter and vise versa, to make it more usefull for musicans since the original files are made in logic pro and midi too. |

@Brainslayer, do you (or anybody else for that matter) know why they change the replay routine slightly with every new release??? |

as i've seen, the vocoder stuff in each replayer is slightly different. it seems so be hardcoded stuff inside. but i found the same hardcoded data in the V2M files too. i guess the real difference is the resolution of the wave generator. |

definitly not since some parts of the files are hardcoded in the replayer. for example the files in the Brüllwürfel musicdisc are different from the original ones in the demos. internally the replayer also detects some settings of the files with an flag. if you take a look into the hex values, you will find an 0x01 or 0x00 before the songname of each file. followed by an dword value, that indicates the songlength.
this value changes some logic internally, but currently i'm a little bit xxxxx up to work further, because of some private reasons |

Great demo there and great music. It would be good to have the music extracted to a file and a player in DP. Lets hope the authors will bless us........... |
