NEW FORUM USERS READ THIS

As you can see when you click on the memberlist, the forum gets its daily dose of about 20 fake account registrations by spammers. These accounts are there, but not activated. They all just contain a website in the profile for search engine spamming. This cannot be avoided because the forum owners (I'm just a moderator/administrator) are currently unable to add the so called "CAPTCHA" image verification. Sad

Account activation is done MANUALLY by myself at the moment. Why? The self-activation (via email) has led to some spamming of the forum in the past. I want to avoid that.

To allow me to spot a legitimate account in the shitload of spammer registrations, please do the following:

Send a personal email with a short greeting or something to my "trash" account GRBLZBX [at] GMX [dot] NET (replace the part in square brakets with the actual characters, ie. "@ "and "." - I think its obvious why). Include the username you used here to register in your message! Then, and ONLY then, I will activate your account.
